Women, Infants, and Children
The Virginia Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program works with families across the state to provide nutrition education, breastfeeding support, supplemental foods, and various other support services.

At the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), I worked closely with the Office of Family Health Services, which housed around 20 programs dedicated to providing information and resources about general well-being and risk-avoidance for Virginians at any stage of life.
The Collaborative Way
At the Virginia Department of Health, our office adopted The Collaborative Way method in an effort to cultivate positive, productive working relationships. Our communications team worked to promote program training throughout the office, producing videos, campaign emails, and print media.
