At the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), I worked closely with the Office of Family Health Services, which housed around 20 programs dedicated to providing information and resources about general well-being and risk-avoidance for Virginians at any stage of life. There, I collaborated with our program managers to ensure that webpages were up-to-date, user friendly, and in accordance with our office branding. In the span of a year, I fielded around 300 web-specific requests.

As VDH responded to the COVID-19 outbreaks, I was pulled up to the agency level where I collaborated with a small team of web designers to work specifically on updating the agency’s rapidly-evolving information about the pandemic.
